MARC CANSIER – Brand Masterplanning
With 25 years of experience as a founding partner of Marc & Chantal, Marc will reflect on how he has witnessed the place of design move from the periphery towards the core of business and institutional decision-making. Marc will be using two recent projects to illustrate this topic: Tai Kwun – Centre for Heritage and Arts in Hong Kong; and RYSE, a hotel made for creative minds in Seoul. Marc & Chantal have been deeply involved in the creation of both projects—6 years of work for Tai Kwun in the creation of an experiential model, brand strategy, visual identity, wayfinding system and narrative environments, as well as 4 years in the making of the RYSE brand. With design and creative thinking positioned at the core of both projects, Marc will illustrate how businesses and institutions can benefit from having a strong brand masterplan.
