I understand that I am admitted to the HKDC events to abide by the rules and regulations set by the Organiser(s). I also confirm that I will not record or report on the content of any sessions of the HKDC and its events that are closed to the public and / or news media, and accept that the Organiser(s) have the right to remove any participants considered to be in breach of the conditions of registration from the events as well as confiscate any sunauthorised recordings. 

bodw+ MEMBERSHIP 

 

HKDC reserves the right to modify bodw+ membership structure, benefits, and other features, including these T&C, in HKDC's sole discretion to terminate bodw+ membership at any time upon reasonable notice, and HKDC will not be liable for any claim, loss or damage resulting therefrom. 

 

Membership cancellations will be accepted by notice in writing. Cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests must be made by the primary contact or credit cardholder. 

 

 

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS TERMS

 

HKDC has the right to adjust, withdraw or cancel any rewards or benefits awarded or to be awarded to the Member(s). 

HKDC is not the supplier of the coupons, vouchers, merchandise, gifts, products, promotions and services supplied by our business partners under this membership and, to the extent permitted by law, will not accept any liability in relation thereto. For the concierge services provided by our business partners, HKDC shall not be liable for any penalties. 

 

 

EVENT POLICY 

 

When the registration is accepted by the Organiser(s), the Applicant will become a Participant. If the Participant subsequently wishes to cancel the registration, it may be done so by notice in writing to the Organiser(s), after which the Participation Fee will be forfeited. 

 
All Participants should make their travel and accommodation arrangements. In the unlikely event of the HKDC's cancellation, the Organiser(s) are not liable for any travel fee or other expenses. 

The Organiser(s) reserves the right to change the date(s) of the events to another date(s) (including but not limited to postponing to a later date(s) where the Organiser(s) deems fit or decides to cancel, alter in character or mode, reduce in scale, shorten or extend the duration of the event at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever to the Participant due to circumstances beyond the Organiser(s)'s control including but not limited to acts of God, war, health concerns (such as outbreaks of a pandemic or epidemic, bird flu or other health threats), fear of terrorist attack, riots, demonstrations, travel restrictions, curfew, embargo, civil unrest, legal proceedings, industrial disputes of whatever nature, government regulations, the lack of or refusal to grant any government or third party approvals, permits, consents or licenses, major disruption of the transport system, system malfunctions or failure of telecommunications or other electronic communications that make it in the opinion of the Organiser(s) impossible, impractical or undesirable to hold the event as initially planned.

 

The Participant shall have no claim against the Organiser(s) or its agents or representatives and HKDC, whether for loss or damage, or return of all or part of any money paid by the Participant in respect of any postponement, cancellation, alternation, reduction, shortening or extension made per this provision. 

 

HKDC reserves the right to the final decision in the event of any dispute. 

 

 

UPDATE OF TERMS 

 

HKDC will update and amend these Terms of Use from time to time without prior notice. 

 

If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and the English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
